German term (edited):
ebenso erfahren wie vielseitig ausgebildeten
Selected
(an employee who is) both experienced and well-qualified
or
an employee who is as experienced as he is well-qualified.
I think it is difficult to bring in a more accurate translation of vielseitig without it sounding awkward and long winded in English.
You could try something like "he is experienced and has a broad range of (appropriate) qualifications" or "he will bring both his experience adn his broad range of qualifications" but both sound a bit wordy to me.

having looked again at the end of teh sentence I see the last option actually works best.
an employee who is as experienced as he is well-qualified.

German term (edited):
ebenso erfahren wie vielseitig ausgebildeten
but brings his multi-faceted training
I still find it a bit wordy, but perhaps you can work with it?

German term (edited):

(an employee) who has both experience and all-round training
You can train and acquire a skill-set without necessarily gaining a qualification, especially as part of a job - isn't that perhaps more the case here?

: I like this variant. I have to defend my own answer by saying that for me well-qualified does not necessarily refer only to formal qualifiactions but having the appropriate skills and training too
