Hi everybody,

how do you say Datum Produktivsetzung/Abschaltung (einer Software/Anwendung) in English? I'm currently working on the translation of a software, so there's not much context to provide. I've found two terms but they don't seem to be the right ones: Production Date/ Decommission Date.

And there are already several entries for Produktivsetzung in the glossary.

Well, that's right, but since these terms are going to be part of a software you can't or shouldn't change it every couple of years.

Thanks Sarah! The Problem with "going live" is that if the date lies in the past, it would sound strange.
