Danish to English

at afløfte aktier
'Afløfte aktier'? Is this not just simply 'use' Århus Kommune's shares? Or is there another useful financial term?

The term "afløfte" was also mentioned om KudoZ May 2009!
Always a good idea to check previous KudoZ questions before listing a term!
Good luck!

: I'm not sure that 'afløfte' kan be understood to mean 'exempt' in this context - it is a different matter in connection with VAT.

In my understanding, exempt can mean 'to allow not to comply with what is normally expected, e.g. to pay or do something' in any number of contexts, not just VAT.
