Spanish term

replanteo de las prospecciones

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering geotechnical report
Hola!

I am having difficulty translating this term, taken from a geotechnical report on the construction of a kiosk and swimming pool.

The term appears in the contents section of the report, as follows:

2.2.- replanteo de las prospecciones y cota de comienzo 2.3.- resultados de los ensayos y pruebas in situ 2.3.1.- ensayos de penetración dinámica

I think it is something along the lines of 'setting up/laying out surveys'

I would appreciate any help..

Muchas Gracias!

replanteo is 'marking out'. It's what you do before starting construction.

new survey set up

IMHO, they are talking about re-working the survey criteria... REplanteo as opposed to planteo.

my proposed wording is not the best, but you get the idea, i hope. :)

good luck!
