affianced maiden
Somewhat more archaic in the English I feel in comparison to the original Swedish, but it appears in a variety of texts, biblical and medieval. Though it does appear in some modern literary contexts as well.
Example sentence:
The affianced maiden prays God in Scripture for strength in her new duties; men are married by Scripture
It is Baptiste, and his affianced maiden, With garlands for the bridal laden!

: While not being inaccurate in any way, I feel the tone of the Romance language in "affianced" strays too far from the down-to-earth north Germanic "fästepiga".
