AVH

German to English Medical Medical (general) Austrian patient report

Would AVH be Armvorhaltung so something along these lines? Couldn't find any confirmation. And would Absinken be supination?

Hi Trudy, that's the "drift" part. The test is to check for any "drift" when the arm is pronated.

Description

The person is asked to forward flex his arms 90 degrees at the shoulders, supinate his forearms, close his eyes and hold the position.
[edit]Interpretation
If a forearm pronates then the person is said to have pronator drift on that side.
