Nors tiesiogiai 'crafts' reikštų 'amatai', manau daugeliu atveju taip galima versti ir 'amatininkystę'. Pavyzdžiai internete:
pagal Amatininkystės įstatymą
accordance with the Crafts Ordinance

Pagalbos prekybai ir amatininkystei mokestis
The tax to support the trade and craft sectors
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/Notice.do?mode=dbl&lang=en&ihmlang=...
Dar, priklausomai nuo konteksto, "craft industries", "engaging in crafts".

trade
Unfortunately the context is missing. I can see where 'trade' could be a suitable translation, such as 'to learn a trade' or 'to practice a trade', e.g. to learn to be or to work as a potter, where prekyba would not be suitable.
Note from asker:
Trade is too general... The term is used frequently in my text, therefore I should choose a specific translation and use it consistently throughout. |
