Japanese term

実態 (in this case)

Japanese to English Bus/Financial Law: Contract(s)
It's taken from the below phrase which is part of the conditions of a contract.
I understand that Company X is not to enter into any joint ventures with other companies, but the proper wording for もしくは実態との合併 is not coming forth. Thank you for your help!
他の法人もしくは実態との合併。

agree JapanLegal : I agree that it's best to keep it general in this case.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you, Khun Soonthon. In the end, I used "entity." As Shannon states, the more general word worked perfectly for me in this case."

Note from asker:
Thank you for your help, cinefil. I used plain "entity" in my particular case.
