Near Space is the area between airspace and outer space—65,000 to 325,000 feet above sea level. For a frame of reference, 100,000 feet above sea level is the height of 80 Empire State Buildings

Note from asker:
Mulţumesc frumos. Din grabă, am uitat să dau şi un context: WE NEED TO FLY IN THAT SPACE THE SAME WAY THAT WE HAVE THE FREEDOM TO FLY IN AIR SPACE AND THE FREEDOM TO FLY *IN NEAR SPACE*. Îi pot spune *spaţiu suborbital*? |

Include : (20 to 100 km) deasupra nivelului marii, stratosfera, mesosfera si termosfera

In franceza : spatiul apropiat
Near space is the region of Earth's atmosphere that lies between 65,000 and 325,000–350,000 feet (20 to 100 km) above sea level, encompassing the stratosphere, mesosphere, and thermosphere. A more understandable definition would be above where a commercial airliner flies but below the realm of an orbiting satellite. The area is of interest for military surveillance purposes, as well as to commercial interests for communications. Currently, craft that fly in near space (nearcraft) are generally high altitude balloons, blimps (non-rigid airships) and sounding rockets.

The ozone layer is a layer in Earth's atmosphere which contains relatively high concentrations of ozone (O3). This layer absorbs 97–99% of the sun's high frequency ultraviolet light, which is potentially damaging to life on earth.[1] It is mainly

Discussion
Cat despre "outer space" sa faca parte din atmosfera, no comment!
: the space lying above the earth or above a certain area of land or water; especially : the space lying above a nation and coming under its jurisdiction
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/airspace?show=0&t=...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outer_space
