German term
eingestellt
German to English

Law: Contract(s)
vehicle waranty
Die Kaufgarantie wird über einen negativen Gewährleistungsantrag eingestellt
My question was previously removed on the grounds that it contained more than one term. Looking at the whole phrase can somebody tell me what the manufacturer is really saying to the holder of the guarantee. There is hardly any context.
Thanks.

: I don't see how you get to negative amount from Gewährleistungsanstrag. And what is the sentence as a whole meant to mean?

to cease, to stop
'etwas einstellen' (beenden) also has the meaning to stop, to cease
Example sentence:

Discussion
I think that the purchased guarantee (i.e. a guarantee that the operator of the motor buys) applies in the case where a request for repairs under warranty is rejected. However, this is still pretty much a guess!
