The noun Schulkörper as such does not really exist in the German language (see also number of Google hits). I think the author - thinking of Lehrkörper - which resembles the entire teaching staff, just invented this word to sound academic

Die deutsche Vorlage ist sprachlich eindeutig verkorkst. Dass es sich um das Schulgebäude selbst und darüber hinaus um die dazugehörigen Gebäude handelt, geht aus dem Kontext hervor. Die Übersetzung wird durch Überinterpretation nicht klarer.
