: "Senior Citizens' " might be better than "Pensioners' " because the latter term seems relatively uncommon in N. America. Of course, there's no way to use center/centre and keep everyone happy!

Thanks Dave. And "old people's day centre" is another possibility.

: You could also try "Senior citizens' day care centre", but it's exactly the same.

Senior Employment Center

: As the asker has stated, this is not about employment. Also, "Senior" is a US term (not sure if it's used elsewhere, but certainly not UK). UK and US readers would both understand "Senior Citizens" in this context.

Centre for the unemployed elderly
a centre for elderly people who are without work, have lost their job, have become redundant or who - on account of their age - have difficulty in finding a job. this centre provides support by either offering free of charge courses designed to raise the level of professional skills of these people or endeavours to help them find an appropriate job.

Sorry, I just read the additional info posted by the answer. But I cant imagine that there centres with the sole purpose of entertaining or keeping busy people who because of advanced age dont find a job. The Centres I know of usually do everything in their power to reintregate these people into the working process, be it by improving their qualifications, be it by finding them an employer.

Senior Citizen Center
In the states, Ilikiomenos is translated as a senior citizen. It could be either Senior Citizen Center for the Unemployed or Senior Citizen Center for the Retired. Its just a matter of playing with the words.
