Thank you, Alexandra, for your most useful explanations. In fact, practically all the variants suggested by the answerers had been already guessed by me in the discussion section. What I really needed was not a bunch of just other guesses, but a well-grounded answer from a person knowledgeable in the field. You seem to be the one. And I strongly believe that in this particular case there is a great difference between "первоначальный" и "первый". Besides, Erika has not yet demonstrated her agreement with your amendment to her answer.

Thank you, Vladimir, it's very kind of you to invite me, but Erica has provided you with a satisfactory answer already.Another thing for your consideration - "the Modul 1 – the First Look of the Design" is a name for an art work in their portfolio and capital letters indicate that.To AStcheg:nobody is going to work for free.The drafts - that is a preliminary work,of course, they should be discussed with a client,but regarding the question above - that is a completed work and they want to be paid for it.The client could change their mind, but that will be the next project,which,possibly,could be called "Second Look".

возможно, что речь об этапе разработки, на котором рассматриваются несколько вариантов (предварительных), т.е. перевод примерно такой: "представление эскизов (вариантов)" и т. п.
Когда-то я рисовал рекламу, работал в полиграфии. Не помню случая, чтобы мы предлагали сначала один вариант, всегда несколько, иначе клиенту не из чего выбрать...
