Ethnography
Dear colleagues,
I would like to appeal to those of you who are native speakers of the Slovak languages in hope that you could help me to decipher what the word: "važtianskeho" means in the following utterance and how it could be translated into English:
Semiologické problémy važtianskeho kroja
The utterance is a title of a publication written by Soňa Kovačevičová- Žuffová, a famous Slovak researcher of the Slovak Academy of Sciences from the period of the 1950s.
I have researched the internet and dictionaries but without success. I assume that the word constitutes a geographical reference, perhaps, I am not sure.
I welcome your opinion.
Thank you,
Myska
