The suffix "-riktig" in "näringsriktig" and "fotriktig" basically means something something benificial. "Fotriktig" sko carries the image of an ergonomically sound shoe, "Näringsriktig" mat is nutritious and healthy food.

In my experience "-riktig" is a suffix frequently used by kindergarten teachers and grandmothers. :-)

En "miljöriktig" arbetsplats, then, would be a workplace designed to comply with environmental requirements.
