Japanese term

3年次編入生

Just to check my understanding: this refers to 3rd year direct entry students? (ie. students who have eg. transferred credit from another university and gone directly into the 3rd year?) Many thanks.

third year admittance system student

It is apparently the system that allows students to enter directly in third year of a specialized curriculum when they can be considered having the credits, especially from a general curriculum. not 100% sure though.
