Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): writeaway

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Dank, ik zat te worstelen met "improvement mechanism". Het kan blijkbaar veel makkelijker... Er is geen standaard equivalent? Nederlands bedrijfslingo zeker weer... Dank!

agree Robert Kleemaier : for being the early bird :-)

impovement / improvement process

Either of these would do, I think. 'Traject' is often a tricky word to translate, and if the other part of the word gives the sense of the abstract process, as 'improvement' does here, then it should be enough on its own.

agree Robert Kleemaier : less the typo in the first 'impRovement', but good explanation

improvement programme

I often use 'programme' to translate the Dutch term 'traject'. It seems to me that 'verbetertraject' or 'improvement programme' has wider (strategic/long-term) implications than just 'improvement process'.

The Behaviour Improvement Programme (BIP) is one of the central elements of the Government strategy to improve behaviour and attendance in schools and is an integral part of the drive to raise standards.

Note: your 'verbetertrajecten' seem to be part of a 'continuous improvement cycle', in which case 'improvement processes' is perhaps the best choice after all :-)

action plan

This is what the Juridisch/economish woordenboek says.

See:

"An action plan is a specific series of steps taken to accomplish a specified goal. An action plan generally includes steps, milestones, measures of progress, responsibilities, assignments and a time line."
