I need to know how to spell in English a place's name near Dhaka pronounced something like "Daiabaazar". It is mentioned in an old movie (1972) in which it was said that this place is about 15 minutes from downtown Dhaka and in 1972 it was a field where there ware a lot of skeleton bones of victims of the war for the independence in 1971.
Could anyone help me? Thanks

Rayer Bazar?
Guessing from your description, I think it is 'Rayer Bazar' because it is a notorious killing ground (Rayer-Bazaar-Boddho-Bhumi) and it is 15 minutes from Dhaka city center. On December 14, 1971, prior to only two days before the victory, the defeated forces along with the collaborators brutally murdered uncountable number of intellectuals and left them dead in the Rayer Bazar ground. Every Bangladeshi is aware of this killing ground and a number of movies were made centering this Boddho-Bhumi (killing ground) but I have never heard of 'Daiabaazar' or something like that, which is only 15 minutes from the capital center. DaYa-Bazaar
Pronunciation of Daiabaazar:
Da = as in "Dark" but a bit soft
Ya = as in "Yard"
Bazaar = same as the English sound Bazaar.

And if you are not sure that the word is "Daiabaazar", then the place name could be "Rayer-Bazaar" because this is a place very near to downtown Dhaka and lots of dead bodies and skeletons of the victims of the war for the independence in 1971 were found here.
