German term
führen bzw. herausführen
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Manufacturing
Context:
"Um diesen Informationsfluss in der Fertigung sicher zu führen bzw. auch aus den Produktionshallen herauszuführen, ..."
Talking about industrial data networks in production plants and manufacturing facilities.
I'm puzzled by "sicher zu führen bzw. ... herauszuführen" in connection with data and also not 100% what kind of 'sicher' it really means here. I'm thinking along the lines of "to manage this flow of information securely on the shop floor and to transmit out of the production facilities" or "to manage this flow of information reliably on the shop floor and transmit out of the production facilities securely".

Since you have the overall textual awareness (hopefully ;-)), I can only say: maybe. Not knowing the overall context I wouldn't be as explicit and use data transmission.

Note from asker:
Thanks, although I'd say "data transmission" rather than "a secure information guidance and distribution". |
Or even "secure data transmission"... |
