German term

Sendeabwicklungen

German to English Bus/Financial Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
- Senden aus manuellen und automatisierten Sendeabwicklungen
- Vorbereiten, Vertonen und Abwickeln von Live Sendungen in der SAW

From a work reference for somebody working as a Sende-Techniker. This technician works in the 'Abteilung Sendeabwicklung' which I think is "Broadcast Management Department" but in that case are "Sendeabwicklungen' just broadcasts? Throughout the text I have translated 'Sendungen' as 'broadcasts' so I expect this could be something else.

Discussion

Dr Lofthouse Sep 12, 2009:
could it be 'audio feed' or 'audio stream' -
Veronika McLaren Sep 12, 2009:
possibly broadcasting services for Sendeabwicklungen?
Shane London (asker) Sep 12, 2009:
I suppose I could use 'programmes' for 'Sendungen"
Anne-Marie Grant (X) Sep 12, 2009:
Sendeabwicklung = broadcast Sendung = programme. Could that work?
