It goes w/o sayıng they should learn originals of Turkish culinary-related, yet it would take quite a bit longer while having lost some common words to our neighbouring countries due to Patent Certificate popular recently. So I would again suggest "Cirle / Ring Pastry" more perceivable to Western World.

I tend not to translate dish/dessert names. I believe it's a good way of advertising our "national dishes/desserts". Let them learn ;)

Do the Greek, French etc. translate them? Nope.

Maybe mention what it looks like, etc. in parenthesis (I like freetran's suggestion), but please do keep it in Turkish.
