This is such a fun job....lyrics by Brazilian rock singer Pitty. As always with lyrics, though, there are some things that are kind of "iffy" -
Here's the context:

Hi Amy, I think it means that the man gets paralyzed "by his harmful fear". If you say "the man and his harmful fear get paralyzed", it will not make much sense at all.
