In Großbritannien ist das Äquivalent zur Wundertüte ein "lucky bag", aber ich denke, das passt in diesen Kontext wirklich nicht hinein.

It really depends on the target market. There are also goodie bags for customers at conferences and exhibitions, not to forget those for celebs that contain thousands of $ worth of designer clothing etc.

: In the USA, when movie stars go to events like the Oscars, they expect a 'goodie bag' filled with expensive items. Nothing wrong with its use in this context, at least for the USA. 'Lucky bag' says nothing here.

HK? I wasn't suggesting lucky bag as a term in this context, but was merely supplying the equivalent to Wundertüte and my partner is from the UK so would know what I meant when I said a wee surprise bag containing toys, sweets etc.

Not sure if you can use this to bring about the imagery somehow, but my first thought was a fully stuffed pinata, loaded with goodies.

hmmm, I didn't realize this term is not known in the UK - pinatas are at almost every kid's birthday party these days, where the blindfolded children try to whack at the thing with sticks until it breaks open and the goodies burst out.
