JC Translating
: "spherical ball valve" would be the exact equivalent. All I mean is that ball valves are often described as spherical ball valves, particularly the larger valves.

Thanks JC. Do you mean as opposed to a cubic or pyramidal ball valve?

(hydrant) manifold
I'm not sure whether this incredibly long web ref. will fit, but it does show a decent picture if you can get it. "Boisseau" is one of those (many) difficult to translate words, but "hydrant" should cover it.
I'm not sure about "lance monitor", though. I think it's a lot meatier than a lance.

Robinets incendie armé (Quantité : 4)'
This is the full context in which this word appears, under the general heading 'Spécification Matériels de Protection Incendie', which first lists 'Caractéristiques réservoir eau incendie', then 'Poteau d'incendie aérien', and then this one.
I am giving you all this context partly because I have absolutely no idea of the correct translation myself, and would like to award the points as fairly as possible, so you may be able to resolve this for me.
