More context please? I have the feeling the substance's name is incomplete. Either that, or there's a (huge) typo in the document.<br><br>As a side comment, neither "chlorure d'acide silicique" nor "chlorure d'acide silicié" make any sense, as they either refer to non-existent species or are incomplete.

Sorry, I should've explained my train of thought. Sometimes the names of chemicals and other similar things keep the same spelling in EN and FR but it could be a typo for 'silice' (silica)-perhaps this is more likely

Well, non of the gHits I came across had an accent and I searched in the UK only as well as world wide. It looks as if there is something called 'silicie acid' as well as something known as 'silicic acid'. We need a chemist! And please could we have more context? Many thanks

and also 'silicic acid. Cant find anything which includes 'chloride' though. What is the context?
