When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

I don't believe this could be in any way an example of the passive voice, the conjugation would be all wrong, even allowing for poetic licence.

Perhaps you could check there is no error in your transcription of the source text, and maybe tell us where this comes from?
What appears odd to me is the use of 'obeys' without an apparent subject (since God's will can hardly be expected to be 'obeying' anything) — unless there is a preceding implied other subject, or the conjugation of the verb is wrong?
