Εννοώ, βέβαια:

** Αντί "ενεστώτα" διάβαζε "ενικού" (εννοώ ότι οι σιδεράδες θα ήταν blacksmiths, ενώ τα ψάρια τα έχει σαν collective noun στον ενικό).

Από τη στιγμή όμως που μεταφράζονται οι blacksmith, έστω και του συλλογικού ενεστώτα, χάνει και τη λογοπαικτική της χάρη η ερώτηση.

: τα εν λόγω ψάρια έχουν αγκαθωτά πτερύγια ή κάτι παρόμοιο :)) [punctipinnis = punctio (αγκάθι/ωτός) + pinnis (πτερύγιο)]

what is meant here with blacksmith is the bird blacksmith plover (or lapwing) in German Schmiedekiebitz, Kiebitz in Greek is βανέλος. unfortunately I have not as yet found the Greek term for Schmiede (kiebitz) that´s why I mentioned the Latin term in brackets.
