a) Die Schläuche müssen im Wellental entlang der Wellenflanke getrennt werden. Von den abgetrennten Talradien darf an beiden Enden nichts mehr vorhanden sein.
There is a drawing showing a series of simple waves. The separation point is at the side or flank of each of the waves. Is "flank" the right term here?
