В русской медицинской терминологии тоже есть слова "каудально" (в направлении "хвоста") и "краниально" (в направлении черепа, то есть головы). Фактически, если рассматривать стандартное анатомическое положение (то есть человек стоит прямо), "краниальнее" = выше, "каудальнее" = ниже.
