I am translating a datasheet and am struggling with the beginning of this phrase:

Des substances contenues laissent conventionnellement prévoir la possibilité, chez certains sujets prédisposés, d'une réaction de sensibilisation en cas de contact cutané.

I understand that some people may get an allergic reaction to the substance but I'm not sure about the beginning 'Des substances contenues laissent conventionnellement prévoir la possibilité'.
