Italian term

le inventava tutte

Italian to English Art/Literary General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters Piece about a photo album
What first comes to mind is "an aunt so full of make-believe", then on second thoughts, but not so happy with it, "an aunt who was always making everything up".

Tempi felici.

All comments, ideas much appreciated.

full of imagination

I think that it refers to the fact that the aunt was always finding something for them to do.

there were no limits to what she would think up/come up with/get up to/contrive etc.

In other words, there were no limits to what their aunt would do to keep them amused

Thanks Sarah, a close call

Note from asker:
Thanks Tom, I'm afraid John's "things" (more neutral) just won over your "tricks", although I did think of adding "fun and tricks"
