Architecture
aludiendo a un período en el que los arquitectos hacían a capricho edificios de corte egipcio, griego, gotico, mudéjar u oriental.
I wonder if this is talking about the Egyption etc. court? Not referred to elsewhere in the text. The quote concerned talks about the revolution in architecture but doesn't say what that is.

Lit. "cut," as in a fashionable cut of clothes, but for architecture, style is more appropriate.

style
I suppose in English you might say that a building was made in the Greek/Gothic/Oriental etc style
Perhaps there is a proper architectural term, however.

corte
I think it refers to "corte egipcio" and not "edificios de corte" and maybe the possible meaning is like "style"
