Hardly any context in my translation, however, the question was already asked for Rumanian with the following description which also applies for mine:

Incorrect dosage/feed of bulk material
Working on the basis that the "schütt" refers to a Schüttgut and that the "Fehl" means that an incorrect amount (presumably excess) has been fed/dosed/supplied. If it is always an excess then I'd suggest "excess dosage/feed of bulk material" or simply "excess bulk material".

: If any preference, marginal for "feed", as IMO "dosage" is more for mixtures and blends.

Thank you! Which suggestion do you agree with though (i.e., what would your preference be)?

My translation deals with installing a sprinkler system in this plant, so doesn't say much about the plant itself.
