BCompt-graad
BCompt-graad (pse note no fullstops or spaces) is NOT a BCom degree. The full form is Baccalaureus Computationis and is found mostly among financial managers and advisors. BCom stands for Baccalaureus Commercii.

It has always been customary in Afrikaans to write the second letter of the abbreviation for a degree as a capital letter where this is the beginning of a new word, viz. BCom, BA, DPhil, BSc, etc. This is also how it is given by Pharos Afr/Eng, Eng/Afr dictionary, unless of course if UNISA writes it differently. Perhaps this should be cleared for the sake of the enquirer.

The abbreviated form is written without fullstops or spaces and with a capital B and C, e.g. BCompt. It is NOT a BCom degree.
