consignment stock

Consignment stock is stock legally owned by one party, but held by another.

jens Kaestel's suggestion is OK as well, but I would use the term 'warehouse' for the building per se, whereas 'stock' relates to the contents.

Consignment warehouse

"Lager" in Danish = "warehouse". A consignment warehouse is where you keep consignment stock. (I used to manage a warehouse in Sydney)

Hope this helps... :-)

The term "warehouse" can be used for an entire building as well as for each grouping of stock kept inside the building, e.g. 'first inventory warehouse', 'second inventory warehouse', 'scrap warehouse', 'consignment warehouse' etc.
Example sentence:

Det princip kaldes konsignationslager, hvor du leverer varer til et lager i nærheden af købers adresse,..

Consignment Warehouse: Warehouse in which vendors (at their own expense) store materials that are available to customers assuming a future order.
