: Seems to be the correct translation:-) Perhaps use 'operator' or 'engineer' rather than 'contractor'? / IMO the 'bronbemaler' is likely to be employed by a 'dewatering contractor' :-)

Thanks, Kitty. Contractor is the most suitable term for UK English I would say. Engineer is a techn. qualification and operator refers to equipment. That's true. Engineer is a possibility in this case

well driller
A bit of a guess ... See also the link provide in my note to asker.
A related jog seems to be 'pump installer'. Both professions appear to be licensed professions.
Water well drillers set up and operate mobile rotary, boring or cable tool drilling rigs used to drill residential, commercial or industrial water wells. They also do environmental assessment drilling.

well-point drainer
Van Dale lists 'bronbemaling' as well-point drainage, though I must confess that I have never heard the term 'well-point' being used before. Nevertheless, it does pop up on Google.
So there you go, we learn every day.

: 'Well-point draining' or 'well-point dewatering' seem to be OK, but no hits for 'well-point drainer' or similar combinations with 'well-point' to refer to the profession of 'bronbemaler'.
