Spanish term

correlacionador

Spanish to English Other Surveying Census terminology
Hello everyone,

This term is from a Cuban census document and the context is:

I'm very tempted to use "correlator" here but that seems to apply to other sciences.

My attempt, with a bit of circumlocution thrown in:

"Additionally, the coding from the current political-administrative division in the country since 1976 was used and a correlation between populated settlements was created that allowed the placement of areas with antiquated names within the current political-administrative division."

Thanks in advance for your help!
