English term
substantial
English to German
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
Context:
"This is an attractive topic in the automotive industry as there are many structural parts for which the use of thicker sheets is substantional."
Does the word "substantional" exist? Answer: of course, try a google search and one gets many hits.
But look in any dictionary (Oxford, Websters, Leo, etc) and I can't find it.
Does anybody know what it means?

Das muss auf jeden Fall "substantial" i. S. v.

: The use of ... is "substantial"? Sorry, but I've never heard "substantial" used like that. I suggest consulting the client for clarity.

True but this is really a side issue - perhaps the text was written by a non-native.
