"Abschlussrhythmus VU Abschlussart 5 Zinsrechenmethode DEUTSCH"
I have not been able to find a translation of the term, but it seems to refer (perhaps) to the frequency of statements or perhaps when/if interest is compounded.
Does anyone have a translation for "Abschlussrhythmus" and/or know what "VU" is an abbreviation for in this context?

I think he is talking about the transactions that take place during the period under question. It also covers "interest calculation" for the said period. In addition, there could be other transactions..
