Dem Kontext nach geht es hier um die Zuordnung von Maschinenkapazität pro hergestellter Einheit einer bestimmten Produktlinie. Damit wird dann die Produktionsplanung/Investitionsplanung/Kostenplanung gemacht.
Material selbst wird ja auch nicht ueber eine bestimmte Länge ("...when and for how long..") GEbraucht sondern VERbraucht. Wenn von "loading" die Rede ist, meinen die das "loading up[ of machines with a particular product - up to machine capacity".
So viel von mir zu vortgeschrittener Stunde. Meine Version ist vermutlich noch nicht die eleganteste, aber ich hoffe sie zeigt in die richtige Richtung.
