German term

fertiger Flush

German to English Other Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino gaming, poker

This text is explaining why a poker player chose to play his hand a certain way and contains a lot of poker-specific terms, which I've translated ok. It's just this one term that's confusing me. Is it a straight flush? or just a flush? Previously the text referred to a flush draw, are they the same thing?

I have Googled the term and found:

The second example leads me to think that a "fertiger Flush" is different to a flush draw.

Any poker players out there?

Hello Jo! This is a guess, but it does Google ;-)
Peer comment(s):

agree Courtney Sliwinski : Looked this one up for you- term is made or complete hand flush, have a look at this website for further clarification. It is basically a flush that has been dealt, and the player doesn't need to draw for. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poker_jargon#C
