If you're getting annoyed by all these messages, you are getting an inkling of how it feels to sit here receiving your messages, trying to help, and ending up on the receiving end of your abuse. Pardon my French, but this really sucks.

Let's get something straight. Your answers are welcome and I thank you for them. What is not welcome is your arrogant, condescending, accusatory and patronizing attitude. Additinally make an assumption without knowing the circumstances. I prefaced my intial comment with wry humor, which you missed. 1.You apparently don't know the rules, none of which I broke, bent or abused, so your condescending, so your condescending comment is out of line. 2. I don't do Norwegian, nor would I ever consider it. It is not an assignment, it is for my own personal edification and curiosity. I am a professional tax preparer and a client brought the tax form in, which we didn't need to prepare the return. 3. You do NOT have to answer any question, nobody puts a gun to your head. If you look at them as "unwelcome interruptions" then you have the wrong attitude for this forum. I only answer questions when I have free time. Have a nice day!

What you might want to reconsider is accepting a translation assignment for which you obviously lack even the most rudimentary qualifications. This is not good for the translation industry's credibility, asthe result is bound to be substandard.

Sorry you poor fellows are in need of work, but you might check the Kudoz rules that suggests keeping the questions to under 10 words. Besides, you are not compelled to answer any question, it is voluntary. I have answered over 5000 questions in the last 2-1/2 years, never crying about the length and asked 9. So, I have contributed a lot more that both of you combined, so lighten up a bit.
