Sauna
This is a sauna that is built into a hut that is half underground. I find many translations as "earth sauna" but these are on websites translated from German. Maybe "underground sauna"?

Ground sauna
please see this link on the history of saunas:
http://www.sauna.fi/englanti/develpt.htm
Also, the sauna is not actually under the ground, so it cannot be an underground sauna.
Alternatively, you could just call it a traditional Finnish sauna. After all, the text does go on to explain what this is.

: As opposed to third-floor sauna?! "Erd" simply means "Erde".

Underground sauna
The sauna is technically underground, and the description would explain exactly what is meant, so the term wouldn'T be misleading. It sounds more appealling than ground sauna I think!

Damian Harrison (X)
: Cannot see how this is "technically underground", a cellar IS underground, but this does not make the entire building undergound, nor are "souterrain Wohnungen" underground.

in ground sauna
I just thought this might give you one more option. It is easier for people to visualize because it is the same terminology that is used for pools.

sunken sauna
Neither totally above nor totally below ground. Some reasonable hits on native English sites.
