Face-stock je u proizvodnji papira papirni površinski sloj koji se može nanositi na neki drugi materijal. Pa sad da li je papirni površinski sloj ili samo površinski sloj, zavisi od konteksta. Ako je u pitanju etiketa, onda bih rekla da je papirni površinski sloj (koji je važan kao svojstvo jer ako je bledo ukazuje na lošu izradu ili dugu izloženost vremenskim prilikama, itd.)
