The Roof angle is defined as the rotation angle around the primary axis of the probe, and can have values between –89.9º and 89.9º.
For a probe skew of 0º, a positive roof angle will generate beams with total skew angles between 0º and 180º.

| Все-таки угол он, по моему разумению, всегда между какими-то плоскостями, поэтому в тексте это не проходит. Думаю воспользоваться вариантом "угол покрытия". |

Похоже из текста следует, что это угол захвата датчика, перекрывающий угол, но поскольку слово roof...

: точнее, "раскрыв"// Да нет, раскрыв - это стандартный термин для излучателях, например, электромагн. антен и т.д. А roof - в данном случае с физической т.з. неприятно. Крышка (см. напр. стандартный термин "фотометр с крышей") правильно, но 180 ...

Спасибо! Про "раскрыв" я думал, но пожалуй тут подразумевается примерно тоже, что и в словах "небосвод, небесный шатёр". Готов согласиться с вами, прав и Виталий, но, думаю, тут в десятку никак не попадёшь.
