German term
ON
German to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
abbreviation/acronym
from an Austrian regional court decision.
Context: Im Weiteren wurden die Voraussetzungen der §§ XXX bzw. YYY StPO angenommen, insbesondere ein gegründeter Verdacht iSd § XXX StPO bejaht (ON 2).
...mit dem Antrag, den angefochtenen Hausdurchsuchungs- und Beschlagnahmebefehl als gesetzwidrig aufzuheben (ON 7).
(sorry, for some reason the sub-field "symbols/abbreviations/acronyms" automatically gets changed to "general/conversation/greetings/letters" when I click Preview.)

Thank you, Jonathan. My problem is that I only know "indenture number" in a technical context - I have no idea whether this is also used whenever you refer to laws. Have a nice Sunday!

My Österreichisches Wörterbuch" also suggests "Oesterreichisches Normungsinstitut" for ON, but don't really see how that would fit a legal context...

Ordnernummer might make more sense here, since such low, single numbers are used

if so, I'd go with "file number"
