This comes from a festschrift on the matters of immunity in relation to Private International Law, and the sentence in question reads:
"evitar que esta normativa comunitaria pudiera ser empleada para que se certificasen como título ejecutivo europeo ciertas sentencias de los Tribunales de Grecia condenando a la R. F. de Alemania por los actos realizados por el ejército de este país durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial contra la población de la aldea de Distomo."
I know the case in question, but am finding it impossible to find an English equivalent- I though it might mean some sort of certified benchmark ruling, but am losing inspiration fast.
Any help appreciated.
