German term
Ventilheizkörper
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Furniture / Household Appliances
Heaters/radiators
From the heading of a prospectus of domestic radiators:
"Kompaktheizkörper/Ventilheizkörper"
Is this "Compact radiators/Radiators"? I can't find a decent translation of Ventilheizkörper anywhere, all the radiators I see seem to have valves, and the Google images for Ventilheizkörper and radiator are very similar.

thermostat-controlled radiator
Assuming domestic refers to Germany:
Starting in the 70's, all new radiators had to be fitted with a valve that controls their function by room temperature; i.e., a temperature-sensitive valve
That was in response to the "Oil Shock" - and a change from boilers in the basement "regulating" the temperature for an entire building
