These are patches that you stick on yourself to relieve joint pain. The active ingredient is an essential oil that can be reapplied to the patch every twenty-four hours with a dropper, hence the patches are "rechargeable".
I don't think rechargeable quite works in English, neither does refillable, and reimpregnable, although accurate, is a bit heavy for sales blurb. Any suggestions? Note that this is not the same as reusable.

: I don't believe in reusable, as the patch must be "recharged" before it can be used again. Reusable patches generally needs no reimpregnation by ingredients.

I do think, that it is correct. Both corresponds to the German equivalent "wiederaufladbar", which is used for batteries, as well for patches or similar.

I think this would be ideal for describing the situation as you have explained it.
There are lots of equivalent things that we can talk about 'reloading', and it is after all also one direct translation of the FR.

I can certainly see that there is an important distinction between the mere fact that the patch itself is reusable, and the additional feature that you can 'top it up' with fresh product.
A patch might well be able to be taken off and put on again, which would make it 'resuable' — but I can see it is quite a different kettle of fish that you can also prolong its life by adding more of the active ingredient.
There are lots of equivalent things that we can talk about 'reloading', and it is after all also one direct translation of the FR.
