Thank you for your input. Yes, possible, however, all I've found were"felting wool" and "felted wool", so I have to let the asker be the judge.

felt thread/

We used to purchase the square cut felt sheet from Craft shops, but recently, they sell the フェルト原毛(like thread). It is the raw material, from then, you can make your own felt. (You can enjoy more valiation that way). please see the pic.
